Botetourt County (IPA: /ˈbɒtətɒt/, “Bot-uh-tot”) is a county located in the U.S. state of Virginia. As of the 2000 census, the population was 30,496. Its county seat is Fincastle[1].
Botetourt County is part of the Roanoke Metropolitan Statistical Area and located in the Roanoke Region of Virginia[2].
