Franklin County, Virginia

Franklin County is a county located in the U.S. state of Virginia. As of the 2000 census, the population was 47,286. Its county seat is Rocky Mount[1].

Franklin County is part of the Roanoke Metropolitan Statistical Area and located in the Roanoke Region of Virginia[2].
